Silicon is a versatile and shock absorbing material. We added an extra layer of drop protection with an internal array of cells that protect the iPad 2 on all sides.

To make the Ekto2 even more rugged we added extra material in the corners and edges where most drops occur. The front bezel is raised for screen defense and the rear-side ribs add an extra layer of armor.

Only 3/4" thick allows the Ekto2 to fit in most iPad sync carts that are commonly used in school environments
